For parents
Every Streams of Scripture Kids story is grounded in a named Bible passage before it is written, and no video is published until a person has reviewed and approved it.
How a story is made
- The passage comes first. We start from the actual text — for example 1 Samuel 17 — using a public-domain translation.
- We write down what must be true. Each story carries a list of facts the retelling has to keep.
- We write down what it may imagine. Weather, expressions, pacing — the ordinary work of telling a story well.
- We write down what it must never do. No invented miracles, no invented words from God, no changed outcomes.
- People review it. Biblical accuracy, child-safety, and the look and sound of the finished video.
- A person approves it. Nothing reaches a public account automatically.
What we avoid
Biblical stories contain real conflict. We tell it honestly but gently: no graphic violence, no gore, no frightening imagery, no chaotic animation, and no engagement bait.
Scripture is never generated
Scripture quoted on this site is real text from a public-domain translation. Retellings are original writing and are always presented as retelling — never as Scripture, and never as new revelation.
Age bands
Stories are written for three bands — ages 4–6, 6–9 and 9–12 — because a four-year-old and an eleven-year-old need different tellings of the same passage.
